The room felt smaller than expected, with tight quarters that made navigating the space a bit awkward. The bathroom door swung too close to the toilet, which might be an issue for taller travelers. Plus, the lack of sheets and blankets for the pull-out couch meant I had to scrounge around for my own, not exactly ideal for family stays.

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend pause in Birmingham with very good value for money. The bed was comfy after a long day, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to check if the heater works before getting too cozy.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Birmingham, and we loved how accommodating the staff was with our special needs son's autism support dog. They made us feel welcome, which really eased our stay.
My wife says that the room cleanliness could use improvement.
